陈永昕：上海交大机械系2011届本科，明尼苏达大学机械系2016届博士，现任佐治亚理工学院航空航天学院机器人与智能机器研究所副教授。2026年IFAC Manfred Thoma Medal获得者。

Manfred Thoma MedalThe Manfred Thoma medal, created in 2015, recognizes outstanding contributions of a young researcher and/or engineer under the age of 40 to the field of systems and control in its widest sense. It is named after Manfred M. Thoma, a leading contributor to the field of control and to IFAC, and supporter of the careers of many young scientists. The medal is awarded by the IFAC Council on the recommendation of a selection committee. A monetary prize is presented to the recipient together with the medal.For the 2023 - 2026 triennial period, the Manfred Thoma Medal Selection Committee is composed as follows: Silviu Niculescu (Chair)

江西宜春人，1986年生，2007年浙大数学系（竺院）数学与应用数学专业本科毕业，2013年获加州理工学院控制与动力系统博士学位，2013-2014年为麻省理工学院博士后。2014年起任哈佛大学电气工程与应用数学系助理教授，2018年晋升副教授，2020年直接晋升为讲席教授（Gordon McKay Professor），时年34岁。

He received his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong university, China, in 2011, and a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, under the supervision of Tryphon Georgiou, from University of Minnesota in 2016. He is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. Before joining Georgia Tech, he had a one-year Research Fellowship in the Department of Medical Physics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center with Allen Tannenbaum from 2016 to 2017 and was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Iowa State University from 2017 to 2018. He received the George S. Axelby Best Paper Award (IEEE Transaction on Automatic Control) in 2017 for his joint work ‘‘Optimal steering of a linear stochastic system to a final probability distribution, Part I’’ with Tryphon Georgiou and Michele Pavon and the SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization Best Paper Award in 2023. He received the NSF CAREER Award in 2020, the Simons-Berkeley research fellowship in 2021, the A.V. ‘Bal’ Balakrishnan Award in 2021, and the Donald P. Eckman Award in 2022. He delivered plenary talks at the 2023 American Control Conference and the 2024 International Symposium on Mathematical Theory of Networks and Systems. 陈永昕也是江西人，跟黎娜一样。
